As we start a new year, we need to look back at what was accomplished in 2025.

At Girl Power, one of our biggest milestones was the celebration of our first Coaching Summit.

Girl Power Coaching Summit

🌍 The Girl Power Coaching Summit 2025 brought together women from across the world, and the impact was felt in every corner of the room. 🌍

From Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Malta, Greece, Finland, and the UK, to Brazil, Mexico, Canada, and beyond, coaches, athletes, leaders, mentors, players and practitioners travelled across borders to stand together for one shared purpose:

We didn’t just host a summit, we created a global sisterhood, a learning space, and a call to action.

We are already our activities for 2026: football tournaments, leadership academies, conferences, workshops at schools…

We will reveal everything in due time but we can already share that you will find us in Denmark, the UK, Germany, Greece and others! 😊

Leadership Academy Germany

The first project we have revealed is the Girl Power Leadership Academy in Germany.

The Girl Power Leadership Academy is a leadership and empowerment program for young leaders by equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to emerge as community leaders initiating social initiatives through sport.

The program includes a learning phase and an implementation phase with an in-person residential and online workshops and mentorship sessions with the participants. The 4-day in-person residential will take place in April 2026.

We are looking for young women aged 16-25 based in the cities of Hamburg, Frankfurt and Berlin (Germany). Women from migrant or refugee background are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Girl Power is hiring

We are looking for people to help us run our programs. You could be our next team member!

Project coordinator: We are looking for a Project Coordinator to support our programs in Germany. The time commitment is 5 to 8h/week and you must be able to communicate in English and German. Apply here: Project coordinator application​
